Founder of Daymark Counseling
Gordon Bals founded Daymark Pastoral Counseling in 1997. He counsels in a variety of areas but especially focuses on marital difficulties, grief (loss a loved one), trauma (unexpected life transition, raising a special needs child, serious injury or job loss) and religious or spiritual issues (those who are having a hard time integrating their faith into everyday life). Gordon is also an adjunct professor at Beeson Divinity School. Prior to founding Daymark Pastoral Counseling, Gordon worked as an adolescent and family counselor and as an Assistant Pastor at a local church. Gordon has been married since 1990 and has three daughters.
